Human being… is having the fear of the group pressure that would ensue, of not being a team player. They mistakenly believe that their own preferences are counter to the group’s and do not raise objections, the group is steered towards a situation incompatible to it’s goals.

Funny is when the paradox of avoid speaking up is because they fear of separation from the group. They fear loss of face, being called disloyal or even being fired. Yet it is part of the absurdity of the paradox that going along with the group almost always produces exactly the separation that workers fear. Human being loves to pretend to be nice.

Anyway, because of Abilene Paradox, members are tend to avoid responsibility or even attempt to blame others, because the same systemic habit of failure mentioned above can often lead to a culture of blame.
